For thousands of years, our harsh northern climate has nourished plants with extraordinary power. Its deep roots, bitter leaves and rough bark have healed wounds and saved lives.
Now, in the 21st century, the legends of healing northern herbs are being thoroughly researched under the watchful eye of doctors and under the bright light of scientific laboratories to create skincare and make-up that meets the skin’s deepest needs.
MÁDARA was set up in 2006 by Lotte Tisenkopfa-Iltnere and is based in Rigia, Latvia.
Fascinated by nature
Lotte’s fascination with nature’s treasures grew into a serious research quest. MÁDARA started innovations on northern ingredients in collaboration with biologists and dermatologists 15 years ago.

All products are natural and certified organic, developed by experts and produced at their factory in Riga, Latvia.
